NAPM 2018 Annual Conference


 Registration is Still OPEN!!!


NAPM's 2018 Annual Conference will be held in Orlando, FL from February 20-22, 2018 (with golf outing on Monday, February 19, 2018).  If you’ve not already registered for the event, there is still time if you act quickly (but grab your hotel room NOW as the hotel is nearly sold out!).

The overall conference theme — “Streamlining for the Future – 2018 and Beyond” — carries the over-arching message that the event comes at a time of rapid change and potential disruption within our industry, and there is no better time to make sure you have the latest information to prepare for upcoming changes that will impact your business.   2018 brings not only an annual USPS price change, but also significant potential regulatory changes are on the horizon that could impact how postage prices are set in the future.  There also are new mail verification processes going into place, and economic pressures on both the USPS and the industry will continue to drive the need for mail quality and operational efficiency on both sides.

As always, NAPM members can expect the Annual Conference to bring together not only our NAPM community, but critical representatives from the USPS, its oversight/regulators, industry experts and others.  Our conference is noted for the great networking opportunities it provides, not only between our MSP and vendor members, but also with those setting the postal policies and processes that impact your business every day.  NAPM’s Annual Conference Committee (ACC) is working hard to finalize details for the 2018 event, but we can assure our members that the content will surpass even last year’s great conference!  Agenda and speaker details will be announced soon, so be sure to check your NAPM emails and the NAPM web site regularly.  

The NAPM Annual Conference will feature presentations and discussions from the USPS' top decision makers and other key regulatory and oversight representatives, as well as our expert members who are leading NAPM’s working committee efforts, and our vendor members on key solutions they are developing to help your business with current and future challenges.  As a sneak peek…we can tell you the following will be included in our event agenda:

  •  Back by popular demand from last year’s attendees, Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) Chair Robert Taub will speak on regulatory matters.
  •   Top USPS officials including Steve Monteith, USPS Vice President of Marketing; Sharon Owens, USPS Vice President of Costing & Pricing; Gary Reblin, USPS Vice President of Product Innovation; and Pritha Mehra, Vice President of Business Mail Entry and Payment Technologies (along with members of her staff) will present at the event and engage with NAPM members on critical business process changes, NAPM initiatives, USPS product management and innovation, and more!
  • Responding to our member surveys asking for content to help their business grow, the 2018 Annual Conference will  include sessions on growth opportunities such as parcels and parcel returns and managing promotions for customers to encourage mail volume use and growth
  •  As always, NAPM’s committee chairs and members will present information on how their businesses are managing and preparing for these changes
