Member Support & Association Operations Manager

The National Association of Presort Mailers (NAPM) is seeking a full-time Member Support & Association Operations Manager to join our team.

This unique position combines technical knowledge of the mailing industry with association management, member service, and business operations. The successful candidate will serve as a primary resource for NAPM members while supporting the Executive Director, Board of Directors, committees, educational programs, conferences, and day-to-day association operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in mail presort operations and USPS processes, along with excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. This individual should be comfortable working with USPS systems such as the Business Customer Gateway, Mailer Scorecard, PostalOne!, and other USPS reporting tools while also managing member communications, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining membership records, and supporting association initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted resource for members regarding USPS regulations, mail preparation, and presort operations.
  • Assist members with USPS operational issues, documentation, and compliance questions.
  • Monitor USPS announcements, regulatory updates, and industry changes impacting members.
  • Coordinate member communications, webinars, educational programs, and industry meetings.
  • Support the Executive Director, Board of Directors, committees, and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain membership records, website content, and association management systems.
  • Coordinate annual membership renewals, conference registrations, sponsorships, and administrative workflows.
  • Assist with planning and execution of the NAPM Annual Conference and other association events.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Experience in the mailing or postal industry.
  • Strong knowledge of USPS mail preparation requirements, regulations, and operational processes.
  • Experience using USPS Business Customer Gateway, Mailer Scorecard, PostalOne!, and related USPS systems.
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, projects, events, or association activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience with MemberClicks or similar association management software is a plus.
